As can be seen from the pictures below, this skiff has undergone major restoration with the replacement of a good deal of her hull, keel and transom
Her age and builder we do not know. She was bought by the previous owners some fifty-five years ago from the boat builders under the bridge at Richmond on Thames and is probably from the era around the First World War, although she may even be Victorian.
She is a 22ft double camping skiff (think Jerome K. Jerome and Three Men In A Boat) with two pairs of oars and a whicker-backed rear steering seat. She has a total cover mounted on the original hoops, floor boards, adjustable back boards (to brace rowers feet against) and a rudder controlled by ropes leading to the whicker seat.
She has been been revarnished and anti-fouled and is ready to take to the Thames in the hoped-for balmy days ahead.
She is currently lying ashore on the Norfolk Broads and is available at o.i.r.o £8,000
